I’m one of the editors here at Hall Media, Nicole. I’m a relatively recent graduate from Drexel University’s Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts & Design and while I was in school I made a short film called “The Pig and The Tree”. In the film, storytelling comes to life as a young boy reads the story of “The Pig and The Tree.” Characters spring from the page right into the bedroom in an inspiring tale of overcoming fear. Accompanied by a beautiful handmade book by local artist Alison Vucolo, the film is a combination of live action and puppetry.
The film was accepted into Australia’s “Little Big Shots”, and is screening from June to September in the 2-5 year old category. It is going on tour with the festival, which includes a screening at the Sydney Opera House.
